PlumbingRepairCost connects homeowners with independent, licensed plumbers. Free to you — plumbers pay us, and that never changes what you pay. We are not a plumbing contractor and we do not dispatch emergency crews. Every cost figure on this site is cited to current industry cost data, not invented.

Free to homeowners

Reading the cost figures and guides on this site costs you nothing. We do not charge homeowners, and we never will. When you ask to compare quotes, we connect you with independent, licensed plumbers. Those plumbers, not you, pay us for the introduction. That fee never changes the price you are quoted or what you pay in the end.

Affiliate partners

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we are paid when a reader uses one. The programs are:

• Angi and Choice Home Warranty, through the CJ Affiliate network. If you request quotes from Angi or a home warranty quote from Choice Home Warranty through our link, that company pays us a referral fee. On our plumbing-problem pages the Angi module is labeled “Advertising partner.”
• Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Our plumbing-problem pages link to Amazon searches for screening tools such as water test kits and pressure gauges. Those links open a search, not a product we have tested or endorse, and a home kit is never a substitute for a state-certified lab or a licensed plumber.

You pay nothing extra through any of these links. A referral fee does not change the cost figures we publish, which sources we cite, or what a page says about a problem. We do not recommend specific local businesses.

We are not a contractor

PlumbingRepairCost is a cost-research and referral site. We are not a plumbing company, we do not employ plumbers, we do not perform repairs, and we do not dispatch emergency crews. The plumbers we connect you with are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance, work, and warranties. How we handle your information

If you submit a request to compare quotes, we share what you provide with the independent plumbers who may contact you about it, and with the lead partner that routes the request. We describe this in our privacy policy. Any form that collects a phone number includes an explicit consent statement before you submit.

Our cost figures

Every dollar figure on this site is cited to published industry cost guides, described on our methodology page. We do not set prices, we do not guarantee any quote, and we do not accept payment to inflate or discount a figure.
